• Oodles of stories for dozens of magazines, beginning at LIFE magazine back when LIFE still mattered, as well as Vanity Fair, Fortune, Travel + Leisure, Sports Illustrated, This Old House, and many more.

 

I edit & publish.

• I am the founder, editor & publisher of Skybox Press, the leading custom publisher of official, exceptional quality sports commemorative books.

I keep my priorities straight.​

My infinitely better half, Lisa.

We met our first week freshman year at the University of Oregon and have both kept our vows and our senses of humor.

Our daughter and three sons.

• Feel compelled to spend time or money creating a fancy web site.

• Like the designated hitter rule in baseball.

• Engage in political discourse on social media—that's what pubs are for.

I say:

• Just working hard is not working smart.

• The hard thing to do is usually the right thing to do.

• If it's predictable, it's preventable.
